Pastry Chef: Victoria Barrera

Baking is all the memories of my mom and I spending time together, family gatherings, and Christmas cookie decorating. Back when we did not have a mixer, we would take turns hand mixing all the ingredients to make the perfect cookie. Soon I fell in love with baking cakes and decorating. It feels like I am making edible artwork.

Mission Statement

My dream for Victoria's Homemade Desserts is to incorporate Mexican desserts and styles with a unique twist.
Conchas(a Mexican sweet bread) with sugar topping with all the colors of the rainbow. Mexican hot chocolate cookies (with out cayenne pepper) that tastes as if you are drinking it out of a mug. Churro cupcakes. As well as experimenting with classic desserts, Fruit pockets filled with fresh jam, thumbprint cookies filled with dulce de leche, and vegan/gluten free cookies. The smile on customers faces is what I strive for!
